Troll's Drunken Master Throwdown

Especially for Troll

Ruf created this dish for me because he knows I love avocado.

He now sighs mightily when I demand it every time I visit...

Creamy Avocado Pasta

One onion chopped and fried with some garlic

In a separate bowl, chop and blend one avocado

Add soya milk

Add herb - usually parsley

Add pepper

Add sliced mushrooms to the onion in the frying pan

Boil pasta in a separate saucepan - fusili or something similar

Add avocado sauce to the mushrooms and onions

When the pasta is ready, drain and add into frying pan

Mix together and serve

You can add other vegetables like spinach to the sauce (minimally or you reduce the creaminess) or serve with green beans.

That sounds heavenly. And EASY, so Ruf shouldn't complain. I'm always looking for new sauces for pasta. Gonna try this cause I love Avocado and have a tree. Thanks!

LDC - I like the idea of nature's butter. Avocados are yum

Troll - That's it, Im dumping Ruf and moving to Trollshire!

kmwthay - Yup, it's so easy that even I can cook it...

Heff - Will try to rectify this glaring error next time Im in Ruftown :) I suppose photographing food will make a change from half nekkidness

Nitebyrd - Ruf is basking in the glow of all this approval for his culinary expertise :)

I put avocado on toast with a bit of salt....instead of buttah! It's a GOOD fat!
